Happy Ever After
She looked across the yard, seeing weeds that hadn’t yet been pulled, hearing a dripping tap that was yet to be fixed, felt a million pressures to perform and provide. A gentle wind blew and it seemed as though the leaves were nodding in agreement.
The hairs on her arm prickled, and in reflection, she felt guilty for wanting more than she already had. But, she craved the peace and freedom of… happiness. Having ‘enough’ and being happy were two different things entirely, and she was starting to awaken to that.
She wanted the liberation, the goodness, the contentment of just being happy. Happy in her work. Happy in her relationships. Happy with where she is headed, and where she is now. But she didn’t know how to find it, and wasn’t even sure if she believed it existed, or was for her to experience. Doesn’t everyone feel this way?
This series, ‘Happy Ever After,’ is about exactly that, how we can discover joy in everyday, how we can invite and allow happiness to follow us throughout our lives (spoiler alert; God wants that for you, and we’re going dig deep into uncovering joy for all of us).
Throughout the month of April, and over the Easter period, we will be examining Jesus’ most harrowing times, which admittedly doesn’t sound too happy, but out of his suffering came the greatest gift we have ever received, and we are going to discuss how we can all live happily ever after, when life throws us a curve ball.
Easter Sunday April 21
In the Christian Calendar, Easter is the most important date, as it’s the time of year we celebrate what it is that Jesus has done for us.
Come join us as we Celebrate the Death Burial and Resurrection of Jesus. Followed by an Egg Hunt for the Kids and BBQ Lunch.
Ps Ron Mallon
We have a guest speaker Ps Ron Mallon from Generations Church in Tatura coming to share with us.
May 12th, Mothers Day
This Sunday bring your Mum to our 10:30am service so we can show her some love on Mother’s Day!
One of the things we value is doing our all to equip people to take the Next Step forward towards their divine destiny. And we want to use all the tools at our disposal to do so.
Sunday 19th we are starting a New Sermon Series my Erwin McManus titled “Chasing Daylight.”
To launch this series (and place more tools in your hand) on Sunday the 19th we are giving away free copies of Erwins book “Chasing Daylight” to everyone who attends our 10:30am service.
Chasing Daylight Sermon Series
We have but one life. We are given one opportunity to pursue our dreams and fulfill our divine purpose. Every moment counts, and we must engage them with fierceness and zeal.
Put an end to passive observation, paralyzed by the need for perfect opportunity, and start seizing the raw, untapped potential of your life with God.
Chasing Daylight is a sermon series by Erwin McManus that will be running from May 19th through to June.
Please note there will be no ‘live stream’ through this sermon series.
